School Trips
While utilising UAQ Marine Club’s unique location, school students throughout the UAE will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the mangroves, revitalise the mangroves and/or gain confidence in a fun marine environment. Both day trips and overnight options are available with full board and/or catering included. Trips will include the full use of UAQ Marine club’s facilities.
Utilising UAQ Marine Club’s unique location will enable school students throughout the UAE to gain an understanding of the mangroves as well as learn about water sports.
We run both day trips and overnight options with full board and/or catering included. The students will have full use of the UAQ Marine Club’s facilities. As well as learning about the mangroves, the students will learn about tides, swells, currents, buoyancy and marine safety. They will participate in water sports such as kayaking, knee boarding and water skiing.
A full syllabus is provided in advance for the guidance of teachers and all tours are led by a professional guide.
The fun day will include a tour of the mangroves observing turtles, flamingoes, various species of fish, crabs and vegitation using our dedicated twin hull 70 foot observation vessel.
Students will be able to swim in the sea and the pool which are both safe for swimming and water sports. All water borne equipment is supplied.
We pride ourselves on the safe environment and the quality of the facilities and teaching which is undertaken in the field (or sea?) and classroom environments.
